Instagramwww.instagram.com/shadyacremotel/, you’ve gotten to know a little bit of our silly side through the videos we’ve recently shared. I’d like to also introduce you to the caring, heartfelt side of Teresa and Christina. Their hearts of Gold have never been more evident than through these notes I’m sharing with you.
During this Covid-19 outbreak, our elderly are the most susceptible and all nursing homes and Assisted Living facilities have been closed to the public. One of our local facilities, Wedgewood Gardens, asked the community to write letters for the residents. I made the suggestion and Teresa and Christina in true Shady Acre fashion knocked it out of the park!
You don’t have to be around Teresa for very long to realize that she is an eternal optimist with a smile, a positive word and a helping hand for everyone she meets. She and I can stare at the same clover patch and within minutes she’ll have a dozen 4 leaf clovers and I won’t see even one!
Christina shares her bright smile and her heart of gold with everyone who walks into our office. Her quick wit has us giggling and belly laughing frequently.
These girls picked 4 leaf clovers and flowers from our garden to include with their hand written notes of encouragement. These notes brought tears to my eyes and I believe will brighten the days for some lucky residents and staff of Wedgewood Gardens Assisted Living.
Likewise, our lucky guests get to be the recipients of the kind hospitality we offer here a the Shady Acre Motel. We can’t wait to share some kind words, four leaf clovers, pretty flowers, a simple smile, or a good belly laugh with you!
