Let’s face it, our new normal is anything but normal. We have lots of important, legitimate questions that just have no answers. Even though we have new ways of doing business (social distancing, extra cleaning, new occupancy rules, masks and gloves), it is encouraging to see our communities slowly opening up. We, at the Shady Acre Motel are listening to our local government and seeking counsel from our local Health Department for best practices going forward.
At some point we have to peek our heads out the door, see what the new world looks like, and forge ahead with the knowledge we have been given.
That being said…we don’t take your health and safety lightly, We are taking extra precautions to ensure your peace of mind.

Every room at the Shady Acre Motel has a private entrance so you can maintain your social distance. There is no sharing of door knobs, hallways, elevators, or common spaces.
Best Practices
Shady Acre Motel is abiding by all regulations and guidelines set by our governing authorities. Our staff is taking extra precautions as recommended by our local Health Department.
Extra cleaning of all hard surfaces such as: door knobs, counter tops, remote controls, and keys between guests.
Extra sanitizing and cleaning of all pillows and bed coverings between guests.
For the time being we are rotating rooms between guests to allow at least 24 hours for the room to be empty and sanitized.
We do offer No Contact Check In, however, our office is open and we have practices in place to minimize contact.

Small motel with the most lovely, friendly people. This is our preferred place to stay. Have been coming to Branson for over 40 years, and have stayed in condos…until Shady Acres. Very clean and close to everything, especially the back roads. The atmosphere is so calm. Family oriented place. Very affordable and comfortable. GREAT!!!!!!
